Asteria et Lune presents the handmade silver jewelry tradition of Xinhua Village, Heqing, Dali through a contemporary lens. Each piece is made by local artisans, continuing a living silverworking practice shaped by time, moonlight, and everyday wear. Founded by a Bai woman who studied in Paris before returning to her hometown, the brand looks again at local culture with a new perspective and brings its quiet strength into the present.

999 fine silver naturally oxidizes, tarnishes, or softens in shine over time. Humidity, perspiration, air, and sulfur-containing substances can speed this process. Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, bathing, exercising, or applying perfume, lotion, chlorine, or household cleaners. After wear, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it separately in a dry, moisture-resistant pouch. Light oxidation can be refreshed with a polishing cloth made for silver jewelry; avoid abrasive cleaners or vigorous rubbing, especially over handmade textures.
